Halotron BrX®
Exceptionally High Performance
Halotron BrX ® is a high performance clean agent. Since 2009, it has been formally tested against myriad aviation and commercial related test protocols. This includes the test protocol in the US FAA Minimum Performance Standard (MPS, DOT/FAA/AR-01/37) to replace halon 1211 on board commercial aircraft. That protocol includes successful completion of the seat fire toxicity test (completed in 2011), fuel in depth pan fire test (5-B), completed with multiple OEMs and the Hidden Fire Test designed to ensure that the total flooding capability of the baseline halon 1211 agent is met or exceeded.
This has also been completed with multiple OEMs resulting in multiple UL Listings where compliance with the MPS is recorded in those listings. Successful fire testing outside of aviation has also been completed resulting in Class A listings up to 2-A and Class B listings up to 10-B.
